Come join us as we practice conversational English in a casual friendly environment. Learn about everyday living in the United States. Study American history and Christian culture. Meet neighbors and build relationships with others who have come to live in this country. Childcare is provided, and we look forward to meeting you!

We will be learning new words, having practical lessons for easier living in the American culture, ice breakers, games, and practicing conversational English with others who also want to learn.

Topics to be covered: Understanding American behaviors American history The American democratic system How to tutor your own children Raising children in the American culture Services provided by the post office, Secretary of State, grocery store "Ask the Expert" topics on legal, medical, finance, budgets, filling out a tax form, preparing a resume, real estate, naturalization process Questions and answers about the Christian faith Local attractions Field trips too!

We meet every Monday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Troy Christian Chapel.
